The Powers of the Subconscious Mind

Earth & sky...heaven & earth, spiritual/mental plane (above) & the physical plane (below)
Sep 26, 2021
I happen to study all the great meta-physical teachers. I study greatness. Spiritualism, the Bible, NDEs, all of which has led to some to some pretty strange subjects. I finally got down to the peculiaralities of the subconscious mind, and became utterly fascinated. Now when I come across certain little "coincidences", and they are everywhere, I contemplate with wonder, for proof will never be in grasp as such in the physical...you can only follow the trail of events on the physical plane so far.
I recently came across something that had me wondering, again, as I so often do.

Since I read about the lives of great people in the quest to find out what makes them so, I went to his Wiki page and read about his exceptional life. I was marveled. Everything he did was successful. He was larger than life...he flew planes, rode horses, starred in movies, had a beautiful family, wealth, traveled, went to Cornell and Juilliard - a true "superman". His life most of us would envy.

As I was going through the rundown of his career, the following did not go by unnoticed:
"Shortly before his accident, Reeve played a paralyzed police officer in the HBO movie Above Suspicion. He did research at a rehabilitation hospital in Van Nuys and learned how to use a wheelchair to get in and out of cars"
I'm only pointing out my radar caught the notion he had entertained the "idea", "imagined", "researched" and even "role-played" being paralyzed, using wheelchairs and learning how to get in and out of cars in that condition, all shortly before his accident.
After studying the subconscious in-depth, I now look very closely at "coincidences". Especially my own. Whenever something flashes before me in stories like this, I become very aware.
True Inspiration
I would also like to add that Christopher Reeve was truly an incredible human being. Having gone through his accident and recovery he only grew larger in life. I was blown away by the massive kind of effort he put into his life, both before and after the accident. He used his name to help others with disabilities. I'm not sure how many people there are who would be able to start life anew with a very different set of circumstances and make the most of it, especially by helping others...a real hero. I think he came into this world a great soul and left even greater. How Studying the Subconscious Changed Me
If I could put any idea forward it would be this:
Know that there really are two selfs. One you see in the mirror, and one you don't see, who has incredible power to bring things and circumstances into your life.
The one you don't see does not work with logic, but is listening to your every thought, feeling every feeling, and receiving every input from your five senses. It controls all processes of the body, and it is always on. Everyone & everything is connected through it.

What is held "IN" mind gets produced in the "OUTER" or physical world.
"As above, so below, as within so without" and "according to your faith so be it done unto you". The subconscious operates below our awareness and controls our lives".
Thoughts, feelings, conversations with ourselves & others, and all our senses are continually making impressions on the subconscious. But think and feel deeply about something and it leaves an impression, it gets passed on, especially if it is repeated. Hypnosis shows the power of the subconscious. When you remove conscious control, the subconscious is a direct power acting on whatever instructions it is given.
There are many verses in the Bible that I could list, not in a religious way, but to explain the concept fully. Somewhere online I read there are 365 verses pertaining to fear. That's one for every day of the year, symbolic wouldn't you say, for we all know it states not to fear.
Phillipians 4:8, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
WEALTH & THE LOTTERY
Lottery Coincidences
Some interesting stories. I'm sorry I didn't keep the articles, so you can either believe me here or not, but they were all posted online on respectable sites. Moving forward I will begin documenting them as I decided to include them. ↠ Cynthia Stafford
Google her name if you haven't heard of her. She won a $112 million lottery. She decided to share what she was doing with the world, many probably wouldn't have.
She mentioned she studied the works of Dr. Joseph Murphy (metaphysical teacher) who taught about the powers of the subconscious mind.
She decided EXACTLY what she wanted, namely $112 million dollars...
She VISUALIZED herself holding a big cardboard check, wearing her favorite top on television, WRITING the amount over & over, sleeping with it under her pillow, FEELING GRATITUDE and THANKING God for her wealth.
She practiced love and joy instead of worry & fear (creating impressions on the subconscios). She RESEARCHED financial planners before her win (active faith), preparing for her wealth. She dwelt on this CONSISTENTLY for four months, then, really FEELING the wealth, she let it go. Well, she won exactly $112 million dollars...

↠ The Man Who Imagined What it was Like Every Day...
This story was not written as a law of attraction of any kind, but I got something very educational out of it.
Some time ago I came across an article online about a guy who lived in the US,
somewhere around what we'll call a small mountain. At the top was basically a rich
man's pad, a beautiful house and surrounding area. When talking about his lottery win
in the article he stated, "every
day I looked up there and imagined what it would be like to live
there".
He said he did this for about a year, and then won somewhere around $9 million, if I'm not mistaken, which was enough to buy the place on the mountain, which he did...

↠ The Art of Concentration
One of the first stories I came across about five years ago that had me wondering...
A young man had won millions, I don't remember the exact amount. He won his money in the US, but the story also mentioned some interesting facts.
He had come to the US from another country, one in which only a small number of people every year were allowed to emigrate. All people chosen were selected by a random lottery. In the article, he stated that he "concentrated" heavily on the fact that he was already one of the winners...and well, "coincidence", he just happened to be one.
So, already having won one lottery, he comes to the US and then starts "concentrating" on a picture of a beautiful home, like a million dollar one, intently holding a trance-like state on it, done repeatedly. I don't recall the article stating a timeframe between this and his lottery win, or what was going through his mind when he was doing this, but let's just say, he got his home.

↠ The Family Picture...
Another article I can no longer find...
There was a family that decided to get together and take a picture of themselves celebrating a huge lottery win, which they did, but they hadn't actually won. Let's call it a "pretend" celebration. The article showed the picture. Everyone was seated around a small table with drinks (looked like they were in a bar of some sort) and one of them was holding up a big cardboard check, everyone smiling ear to ear, well you can imagine how you'd be smiling if you just won millions.
THE VERY NEXT DAY they won the lottery for millions...

HEALTH & THE BODY
Health, Healing & Miracles
From wealth on to health. People who visit famous places such as Lourdes, faith-healers, and the wonders of spontaneous healings...what is the power that heals? There are countless stories...but, for anyone looking for modern cases of healing, check out Dr. Joe Dispenza. His story, in fact, is an extraordinary one, for he claims to have been healed.
↠ Dr. Joe Dispenza
A well-known figure of healing with the mind today
Dr. Joe Dispenza, a chiropractor and one who studies neuroscience, talks openly about his spinal injury after being hit by a vehicle, denying a radical surgery for which doctors told him was his only option to walk again. He meditated & "concentrated" on his spine everyday, seeing it perfect...in three months time he says he was back in his office and starting to working out again. He now helps others.

↠ Anita Moorjani
One of the most incredible stories. The below was condensed from her Wiki page, but she has written books and has spoken on her experience. She had a "NDE" (near death experience). Google her!
In February 2002 she was diagnosed with lymphoma and initially rejected conventional medicine, having watched several people close to her die of cancer, including her brother-in-law and best friend, despite conventional treatments. Over months she experimented with various alternative healing, but to no avail. She then underwent several conventional cancer treatments; however, her doctors informed her and her family that it was "too late". The lymphoma had spread throughout her body and had metastasized.
She came out of a coma (30 hours) and said she had a strong reluctance to return to her suffering and dying physical body, but was encouraged to return by her father and best friend who told her that she needed to return and to "live her life fearlessly."
Subsequent to coming out of her coma, her tumors shrank by about 70% within four days, and within five weeks, she was cancer-free and released from the hospital.

The Body Heals Itself
I'm not stating medical care is not necessary. But we do know the body is capable of healing itself, just get a cut on your finger. The surgeon operates, the body heals. There is a power that keeps our bodies functioning in ways we don't think about. Do doctors heal broken bones? No, they put on a cast and the body does the healing. And, what about the placebo effect? Many people have been cured with nothing more.
So What is Going on Here?
Could it be the power of BELIEF?
Not any whimsy belief, but the conviction, feeling, knowing and embodying of that belief. That's just the type of thing that gets impressed on the subconscious mind...feeling, imagery & belief.
I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything, so please, no nasty emails. What you believe is up to you, although our childhood programming, environment and experiences shape that. These beliefs are rooted in the subconscious, "below our awareness".
If you believe the material world is all there is, you will look at the material world only. But if you can believe that causes (not seen) start on another plane (above material) and the effects (seen) are the results on the physical plane (material), then it opens the door for a lot more.
Rituals, Magick, Voodoo, Curanderos, Shamans & Faith Healers
All these subjects are the same just being expressed in different ways. Sure, you can buy a book on magick, go to a Curanderos or Voodoo priestess, as well as your minister, priest or local faith healer.
But, when I got to the subconscious mind, all these seemed to point to just one thing... BELIEF. After all, that's all religion is, or Voodoo, or faith healing.
If you go to someone who you "believe" can help you or has "power", or you "believe" in a spell, it creates expectation in you, it instills BELIEF. If you pay someone to "help" you in any way, that means you must already believe in their power to do so. We all EXPECT something when we plunk down money. You don't doubt the pizza you ordered is on its way to you.
Religion as I've come to realize is really no different than any of the other topics listed above. Think about it, most perform "rituals" which impresses the subconscious with belief. But as I've come to understand, things that shock us or cause sudden emotion can bypass the conscious brain and go straight into the subconscious, which makes an immediate impression.
So if a Voodoo priest scares the hell out of you, maybe casts a spell on you, creating the impression and seriousness of the reality of his powers and you let that in, well, he's done his job in impressing your subconscious mind.
I no longer rule out any of these things as working. Some people "believe" in some of these and not in others, and thereby receive a "healing" of whatever it may be. If it is a doctor, alternative medicine, a minister or faith-healer, or even a magick spell. The important part is finding the way or belief that will get impressed upon the subconscious of that which you want. Everyone is uniquely different.
An Old Prayer Ritual
I came across the classifieds of an old newspaper from long ago, and stumbled onto finding a popular ritual...people would pray a request a certain number of times a day (holding the desire & thought daily), for a certain number of days, then on the 9th day they would publish in the newspaper a certain specific prayer, which would then (as you believe) make the prayer request come true.
Now I understand what was going on here...if you enhance your belief (conscious & subconscious) by actually doing something and believing in what you are doing, your prayer "would be answered". As it states in the Bible, "faith without works is dead", so the publishing of the prayer was the "work" or "act" in the physical to show the faith. Would you really spend your money & effort on publishing the prayer if you really didn't believe in what you were doing?
I would really like to know how many people's prayers were answered!
Lucky Trinkets & Patron Saints
All our "lucky" things, whether horseshoes, a favorite shirt or other lucky item is nothing more than to enhance a level of belief. And for some, if that's what it takes to acquire belief, or to perform better, then so be it.
Praying to saints is another. There is a patron saint for just about everything in this world, so pick one and pray. If you have sincere belief, then it just may work for you. Some saints are patrons of so many things, I wouldn't think they could keep up with demand.
The Bible is a fascinating book, and I will leave you with a scripture that is interesting, though there are many:
Romans 4:17 tells us that God “quickeneth the dead and calleth those things which be not as though they were.”
In other words, God speaks the end result. He gets rid of the old belief which you no longer think about, which is "dead" and brings in the new, though it is not seen (on another plane), yet, but does appear...
